The Rotunda

First: head over to Kennedy square in Barcelona (Avinguda Tibidabo stop on the L7). Second: take out your phone or camera. Third: photograph La Rotonda, that is, the Andreu tower, a modernist gem recently restored. Fourth and last: post your best photos on Instagram with the hashtag #MiraLaRotonda. With these four simple steps, you can win a Nikon digital SLR and a DJI drone. Or, if the photo is taken at night, a two-day stay for two in a colonial suite at the luxurious Hotel 1898 on La Rambla. It's that easy. What are you waiting for?

For the best daytime photo, a camera and a drone

The prize for the best daytime photo in the photography contest, promoted by Núñez y Navarro, consists of a pack that includes a digital SLR camera Nikon D330 with a AF-P 18-55 lens from the same manufacturer, valued at 679.90 euros, and a drone DJI Phantom 2 Vision Quadcopter, valued, in this case, at 324.50 euros.

The small and lightweight 24.2-megapixel camera represents a fantastic way to capture unforgettable high-resolution photos and videos; it's also powerful, easy to carry, and incredibly simple to use. The lens is a lightweight DX-format zoom with a range from wide-angle to normal and a compact design that makes it an excellent all-terrain tool. The drone, on the other hand, is a light and multifunctional craft with an integrated camera and remote control operation. Ultimately, the bundle guarantees the latest technology for capturing the best photos. Or rather, to keep capturing them! ;)

For the best night photo, two nights at the 1898

The author of the photo that wins #MiraLaRotonda in its other category—the nocturnal one—will receive a two-night stay plus dinner and lunch in a colonial suite, the superior room of the sumptuous Hotel 1898 by NN Hotels, the only colonial hotel in the Catalan capital. This luxurious establishment, unique in its kind, is located in the restored headquarters of the General Tobacco Company of the Philippines, right on Barcelona's Rambla, with exceptional services and spectacular views. The two nights plus the two meals are valued at 2,500 euros.

In the colonial suite of 1898, the winner and their companion will enjoy a 50 square meter stay with an additional 60 square meter terrace that offers the warmth of a private pool-jacuzzi, a relaxing solarium, and an incredible chill-out area. All the charm of the colonial style with spectacular views of Barcelona. And with extras: Nespresso coffee machine, tea kettle and coffee and tea set; complimentary shoe cleaning and international press; King Size bed; welcome with a bottle of French Champagne and sweet delicacies, and breakfast included.

The rebirth of a mythical building

Núñez y Navarro is finalizing and has recently presented the rehabilitation of La Rotonda, one of the most emblematic buildings in Barcelona, a work of the modernist architect Adolf Ruiz Casamitjana, inaugurated in 1906. Six years of work have been invested in the restoration of the facade and the modernist pavilion of the symbolic property.

The performance has allowed the building to regain its original modernist appearance a century later. The building will be used for offices, shops, and parking; the works will be completed in September; subsequently, an open house event will be organized.
