Those days when Sitges is scary
It never fails. It has been a faithful appointment for nearly half a century. At the beginning of each October, Sitges becomes the capital. Not only of the Garraf region—let the neighbors of Vilanova i la Geltrú not be offended—but also of Catalonia, Spain, Europe, and the world. The global capital of fantasy cinema, to be more precise. The essential mecca for fans of horror in film.
This year, the 49th edition of the Catalonia International Fantastic Film Festival showcases the best from the most renowned fantastic film signatures and the most emerging cinema. The Blanca Subur reinforces its status as a meeting point for the industry thanks to various initiatives.
The festival kicks off with a comprehensive program that spans the various territories of genre cinema from all continents and an agenda that brings together a select list of iconic faces and directors who will walk the red carpet.
Living in the White Suburb
But Sitges is not only about cinema. Known as the Spanish Saint-Tropez, its famous carnivals, its flower carpets for Corpus Christi, and its picturesque old town make the capital of Garraf an idyllic place to visit and —why not?— to live. So much so that even the enigmatic and influential Bilderberg Club chose Sitges in 2010 to hold its annual meeting.
In such an incomparable setting, Núñez y Navarro rents out a spectacular penthouse with four bedrooms; its future tenants will enjoy 157 square meters and a 93 square meter terrace on the seafront promenade. Or, very close to it, on Doctor Fleming, a ground floor apartment with four bedrooms; in this case, it consists of 149 square meters plus a 98 square meter patio. With the finest finishes, of course. And with our guarantee.
