Photography Contest La Rotonda

Have you not been able to participate in the photo contest yet? Now you will have more time! Because Núñez y Navarro is extending the deadline for receiving photographs until November 2.

The advanced state of the rehabilitation works and the upcoming lighting of La Rotonda will provide a different view of the iconic Andreu Tower, which, surely, Instagrammers will want to capture on your timeline to compete for the final prize. And, if you had already participated, now you will have more opportunities to capture this emblematic building. The only requirement is that the photos are accompanied by the hashtag #MiraLaRotonda and that you tag @GROUPNN in them.

#LookAtTheRoundabout by day and by night

The group will award the best daytime photograph with a Nikon reflex camera and a drone, valued at around 1,000 euros, and will grant the author of the best nighttime snapshot a two-night stay plus dinner and lunch in a suite at the Hotel 1898 from NN Hotels, valued at 2,500.

All Instagram users over the age of 18 can participate in the contest from July 10 until November 2. The posted photos must tag the account @GROUPNN and include the hashtag #MiraLaRotonda. Each participant can upload as many photos as they wish; the number of 'likes' or comments a work receives will not be considered in its evaluation. Photo montages, collages, or painting techniques on images will not be accepted.

The Rotunda

The verdict, in November

The jury will be composed of Toni Mateu, photographer; Daniel Zafra Masriera, Marketing Director of Núñez y Navarro and Silvia Omedes, president of the Photographic Social Vision Foundation. The alternates are Alfredo Arribas (Alfredo Arribas Arquitectos Asociados), Carles Patrís (Chârles) and Sílvia Rubió (Orbyce). They will issue a verdict between November 7 and November 10. The jury reserves the right to declare the competition void.

Barcelona recovers a modernist gem

Núñez y Navarro has invested six years of work in the restoration of the facade and the modernist temple of the symbolic building conceived by Adolf Ruiz Casamitjana. The intervention has allowed the construction to regain, a century later, its original modernist appearance from 1906. The building will be used for offices, commercial premises, and parking; the works will be completed in October; subsequently, open house days will be organized.
